Who Rules the World
A secondary multimedia resource from the International Broadcasting Trust. Explores issues relating to the world as a global community and provides insight into how international institutions work and behave. The resource includes a website, two videos, accompanying booklet, teachers notes and classroom activities. Part I raises questions about power and how the international community should respond to global issues. Part 3 investigates the role of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and focuses on the negotiations between the World Bank, the IMF and the Ugandan government over debt relief.

Just Business
This website provides information and activities about global and ethical issues for Business Studies and Economics teachers. In addition to recommending materials the resources section includes a range of free teaching materials that can be downloaded and printed or photocopied. These include several role play exercises for teaching about international debt, tourism and deforestation as well as selected activities and case studies.

Young People's Commission for Africa website - the outcome of a project which linked 25 UK schools with 25 schools in Africa between January and June 2005. The teacher resources section contains fact sheets and lesson plans/ideas.

Description: This short video uses young people's voices to make connections between personal debts in the UK and international debt and reveals the reality of debt and its impact on millions of lives.
